The Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced that it will be opening its borders to fully vaccinated Filipinos.
Starting November 1, those who received two doses of the Pfizer, Moderna, Astrazeneca, Sinovac, or Sinopharm vaccine, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine after 14 days can mow book their flight to Ben Gurion Airport.
Those who were vaccinated with Sputnik V will stay in isolation after undergoing a serology test.
“To say we are excited that Israel is reopening to travellers is an understatement,” said Sammy Yahia, Tourism Director for the Philippines and India.
“Israel has taken incredible steps to protect its people and visitors and we pride ourselves on ensuring a COVID-safe and unforgettable trip to those who will be entering our beautiful country. With leading vaccination rates and endless opportunities for outdoor activities, we are eager to welcome visitors back with open arms — of course, at a safe social distance,” the official added.
