Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte has teste positive for COVID-19.
The office of the Davao mayor made the announcement on Saturday and asked those who were in close contact with Sara to go on quarantine and be tested.

“The family requests for complete privacy at this time and respectfully urge the public to refrain from sending tokens for well wishes,” the office of the mayor said.
The office did not say on whether the presidential daughter had close contact with her father President Rodrigo Duterte.
Sara was a no-show on the last day of the filing of certificates of candidacy (COC) on Friday amid her supporters call.

On her Facebook page, Sara said that she is offering herself to Davao residents for the third time.
In an interview with religious leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, President Duterte said that his daughter already made up her mind on not running for the polls.
“Inday is definitely out, as she has said earlier, in the oft-repeated statements in so many interviews,” Duterte said. (TDT)
